Nicole flagged the new options in the “Course Properties” tool. The screenshot below contains some info on how to use the new settings.

The recommended settings for Sept term are :

• Use Term Availability (2013WA is available)
• Use Term Duration (2013WA duration is from Sep 3, 2013 to Feb 10, 2014)

If you have a course shell that needs to be made available this term (ie. from May to Sep 2), then you would use the manual settings:

• Make Course Available Yes
• Duration Select Dates (select start and end dates)

If you have a shell that is required to be open continuously (ie. workshop shell with no start or end dates), the settings are:

• Make Course Available Yes
• Duration Continuous
